Human Starting Zone Guide

In World of Warcraft, Humans are of course a brave and intelligent race and they can choose to be a variety of classes as well as have some very beneficial bonuses, leading them being an often selected race. As a new player to World of Warcraft and need some assistance progressing through the Human starting zone of Northshire Valley, you must follow this guide to ensure you complete as many quests and gain as many rewards as possible to start your character off on the right foot. Be brave young human, there is much work to be done. Let's get down to the business.
First thing first, you may create a Human character and you will start in front of Northshire Abbey in Northshire Valley. Directly in front of you is Deputy Willem, speak to him and accept the A Threat Within quest he offers. Head inside the abbey and speak with Marshal McBride to complete the A Threat Within quest. Accept the Kobold Camp Cleanup he offers you. Return to Deputy Willem and accept the Eagan Peltskinner quest he offers you. Travel around the abbey on its West side to find Eagan Peltskinner. Speak with him to complete the quest Eagan Peltskinner and accept the Wolves across the Border quest he offers you. Head West from Eagan Peltskinner to find the young wolves. Kill them and gather 8 Tough Wolf Meat items to complete the quest. You should gain level 2 during this process. After defeating the wolves and obtaining 8 Tough Wolf Meat items, head north to the small kobold camps and kill 10 Kobold Vermin to complete the quest Kobold Camp Cleanup. Once Kobold Cam Cleanup is complete, you return to Eagan Peltskinner to turn in the Wolves across the Border quest. Return to Marshal McBride inside the abbey and turn in the Kobold Camp Cleanup. You should gain level 3 in the process. Accept the class specific quest he offers you and the Investigate Echo Ridge quest.
Since you are already near the abbey, turn in your class specific quest to your trainer and learn any new abilities you can. Also, stop by the vendors and sell any useless gear and items you may have. Once finished, return to Deputy Willem and accept the Brotherhood of Thieves quest from him. Head back to the kobold camps North West of the abbey and kill 10 Kobold Workers to complete the Investigate Echo Ridge quest. When that is complete, head east of the abbey to find a field filled with Defias Thugs. Kill these thugs and collect the Red Burlap Bandanas they drop. You will need 12 of these bandanas to complete the Brotherhood of Thieves quest. You should also gain level 4 during this process.
Return to Deputy Willem to turn in the Brotherhood of Thieves quest when it is completed, and then accept the Milly Osworth and Bounty on Garrick Padfoot quests he offers you. Sell any unnecessary equipment at the vendors while you are here. Head inside the abbey to Marshal McBride and turn in the Investigate Echo Ridge quest. Make sure to also accept the Skirmish at Echo Ridge quest he offers you. While you are near the abbey, visit your trainer and learn your level 4 abilities. Once finished, head to the North East corner of the abbey and speak to Milly Osworth to complete the quest Milly Osworth. Then, accept the Milly's Harvest quest she offers you. Now you head to the North West of Milly's position past the kobold camps to find a large mine. Once inside the mine, find and kill 12 Kobold Laborers to complete the Skirmish at Echo Ridge quest. Head back to the field where you fought the Defias Thugs to collect their bandanas. This time, go into the field and collect Milly's Harvest from the buckets inside the perimeter of the fence. You will need 8 of these items to complete the Milly's Harvest quest. Once that is done, head to the Far East corner of the field and continue east to find a small cottage. This is the home of Garrick Padfoot and he waits for you at his front door. Kill him and collect his head to complete the Bounty on Garrick Padfoot quest.
Return to Milly Osworth and turn in the Milly's Harvest quest. Accept then Grape Manifest quest she offers you afterwards. You should achieve level 5 by doing this. Return to Marshal McBride inside the abbey and turn in the Skirmish at Echo Ridge quest. Accept the Report to Goldshire quest he offers you. Now, since you are in the abbey, head up the stairs to the top of the abbey to find Brother Neals. Turn in the Grape Manifest quest to him. Finally, return to Deputy Willem and turn in the quest Bounty of Garrick Padfoot.
With that complete, the Report to Goldshire quest is the only quest left in your log, which takes you into the next Human zone of Goldshire completing all of the quests available in the Human starting zone of Northshire Valley. You have done well young Human and the kingdom can now rest easy knowing that another area has been safeguarded from evil. It is time for you to head out and make your way in the world.
